Seek The Will Of The Father, Watch The Blessings Pour Out

FIRST THINGS FIRST – Seek

(Matthew 6:33) – “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you” – As you start your day- actually it’s Gods day, (Psalms 118:24), Seek God first in every situation, before you do anything else, before you act emotionally, before you worry about it, before you complain, before you try to figure it out in your own natural mind, your first thing should be to pray and seek Gods will, His way, and His direction in every circumstance and situation you face throughout the day. When you pray first, give thanks, then act, you may lessen the chance of you getting ahead of God, making an unwise choice, or not representing the kingdom of God, of which you belong if you profess Jesus Christ. Purpose to please God first and foremost, be focused in your faith, bold in your belief, precise in your praise, and confident in tne midst of trials and tribulations, and keep first things first. Peace, blessings, and

Mowing the Lawn – Monday morning I knew it was time to get outside and do something with the lawn, which was in desperate need of being cut. I also wanted to start my week spending time in the word and with our Lord. So, I prayed and then ask the Lord to speak to me, while I was working in the yard. This is what the Holy Spirit gave to me -

All my life I have had a push mower. I have been pushing and pulling to get the job done. This year for the first time, I have a self-propelled mower that pulls, as I walk along behind. Now half way through mowing the lawn I realized, I was still pushing the lawnmower. You see a life of bad habits are hard to break. So I stood up straight, slowed my pace, smiled and let the lawn mower pull me. I then realized that is what we, as believers, are to do when we are born again. We are to admit our sin and selfish ways to the Lord and then allow Him to guide us through life. We are to no long be pushing everyday to do our will. We are to allow the Holy Spirit to lead us through a God directed life. If it is God’s will, it will seem effortless. If it is my will, it will seem hard and like I am once again pushing and pulling, to get my agenda met. Today the lawn looks great and so does my life in Jesus Christ.

    Blessings.

Now that’s what I call INSPIRATION!

It’s so neat how God can use an everyday object in our life and turn it into something like this! I wish He made a dishwasher that put away the dishes too! LOL!
