Think about this when you surrender your life fully to the Lord Jesus Christ, whatever circumstance you are in, God is going to do something good! Because you are His, you’ve surrendered to Him, and listen to this now, when you’ve surrendered yourself fully to the Lord, do you know who’s responsible for your life… Christ! Isn’t this exciting? Let’s look at the definition of surrender “To relinquish possession or control of to another because of demand or compulsion.”
There are 4 words that allows us to surrender the material things that we have. “God owns it all”.
That’s it! how difficult is surrender? You know…I pray atleast once a week for a relinquishing of everything I have over to Christ. I physically open my hands and pretend that He is right in front of me, and I put all of my “STUFF” right into His hands. Jesus said “My Yoke Is Easy” in Mathew 11:30. When He said “Come to ME” He was saying “Put it in my hands”, “Let me take it”, “I can handle it”, “Let me have the burden”! “Surrender it all unto me!”. Wow! Do you feel lighter yet?
Let’s look at something else here, a fact about surrender. As you surrender your life, whether spouse, children, job, finances, health… WHATEVER you need to surrender, I want you to remember that it’s about changing your focus, and to stop looking at the circumstance that you’re in. When you come to this site,
www.dailychristianinspiration.com, I want you to remember something. Your focus is CHRIST! When you surrender, you bring your focus OFF of your circumstance, and on to the things of the Lord. I was speaking about a FACT earlier, well here it is. Paul wrote 104 verses in the entire book of Phillipians. Out of those 104 verses he said the name “CHRIST” 55 times. Do you think that he surrendered, and focused on the Lord. In all circumstances, whether good or bad, Paul had one focus, and that was the Lord Jesus Christ. Surrender to him today, and remember that “God Owns It All”. Let it go, and give God His DUE responsibility of taking care of you in EVERY SINGLE WAY! Meditate on HIS WORD, and let HIM open your eyes to where you need to surrender yourself.
